Board Meeting Minutes Feb. 1, 2018

The Board Meeting was called to order at 7:12 p.m. at the Clubhouse.

A motion by Tammy Wyant to waive the reading and approve the minutes of the January 4, 2018 Board Meeting and Membership Meeting was seconded by Terry Moody and carried unanimously.

The Treasury Report was read by Tammy Wyant, Treasurer.

Report of Officers: None

Report of Committees: Michael Wyant commented that they needed more volunteers. Nikki Cohen volunteered for the Covenant Enforcement Committee, Beautification Committee and Landscape Committee. The Board directed Management to work with the Corresponding Secretary to encourage more volunteers, make new signs that may be easier to read and maybe plan a party or rally.

New Business:

A motion by Tammy Wyant to terminate Security Watch and replace their services with Pembroke Pines Police details was seconded by Terry Moody and carried unanimously.
The Camera and Bathroom Repairs agenda items were tabled.

A motion Tammy Wyant to approve a $2,700.00 proposal from Harmony Cleaning to complete the Hurricane damage and debris cleanup was seconded by Terry Moody and carried unanimously.

A motion by Tammy Wyant to rescind prior decision in July of 2017 to stop B&G installation of insulated aluminum roof by the BBQ Area after a $9,680.00 had been paid to the vendor in June of 2017 and proceed with the installation as originally approved in June of 2017 was seconded by Terry Moody and carried unanimously.

The Board agreed to hold a closed legal meeting with the Association Attorney to review pending legal cases on February 15, 2018 at 7:00 p.m.

With no further business to discuss Terry Moddy adjourned the meeting at 7:55 p.m.
